As a Supplier Quality Manager in Hilti UAE (Dubai) you will have the responsibility for and the ownership of all quality related activities with the local organization. Additionally, you will be collaborating with the regional and global teams acting as a quality champion.

What does the role involve?
As a Supplier Quality Manager, you will be responsible for enhancing the customer experience, strengthening internal processes, enhancing operational efficiencies, and improving compliance, audit performance, and product quality through effective problem solving and data-driven decision making. You will be working closely with both internal (engineering, supply chain, manufacturing/prefabrication etc.) and external stakeholders (e.g. suppliers, certification and regulatory bodies, customers). Some of the daily tasks will include:
- Executing the local quality strategy in line with the Global Strategy.
- Collaborating with various project teams on quality requirement for new projects.
- Executing project specific QA and QC.
- Coaching suppliers on quality objectives and skills development.
- Driving continuous improvement activities.
- Performing quality inspections prior to delivery and on-demand.
- Handling customer complaints.
- Conducting Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Actions, Risk Assessments etc.
- Maintaining and reporting on quality KPIs.
- Developing and executing a local audit plan.
- Supporting Hilti Business Units on supplier quality topics and processes.
- Liaising with the global Quality organization.
- Coordinating quality processes for the Hilti Prefabrication Unit.

What you need is:
- Engineering degree (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering, or Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or similar)
- Over 5 years professional experience with quality management and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in Supplier Quality Management (Auditing, Qualification and approval of supplier and products).
- Know-how in managing quality planning in product development projects.
- Proven knowledge and understanding of quality tools and methods.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Familiarity with international quality and environmental standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/TS 16949, etc.).
- Creativity and energy; ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Experience with MS Office, advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- A well-developed ability to work with others at both a tactical and strategic levels.
- Proven ability to influence high level stakeholders from varied functional groups.
- A customer focus, with a passion for results.
- An analytical, result-oriented, and pro-active mindset.
- Construction industry experience is an advantage.
- Oil and Gas industry experience is an advantage.
- Effective English communication skills.
