IT Product Owner Salesforce (m/f/x)

What's the role?

Your role will be pivotal in developing a vision for scalable sales processes within Salesforce.com Sales Cloud and driving the development and enhancement of Salesforce solutions to optimize and streamline these processes.

What does the role involve?

As an IT Product Owner, you own the product vision and future roadmap of global CRM processes supported by Salesforce.com Sales Cloud. You own every outcome, decision, and activity related to your product. You will provide thought leadership in analysing new business requirements, distilling them into actionable plans, crafting fit for purpose architecture designs and corresponding IT strategy & guidelines.

You provide strategic advice for business processes and solutions and collaborate with Hilti business stakeholders to define and craft the requirements to integrate CRM processes into our Salesforce.com Sales Cloud solution. You create user stories for requirements, write technical requirements, and continuously groom the existing backlog. You manage the product backlog and develop fitting solutions in an agile setup together with your product team of experienced solution architect, software engineers, and functional experts.

You will be part of a global and diverse team located in Buchs (St. Gallen), Switzerland. You will be actively working with IT colleagues in other two strategic IT locations (Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia and Plano/Tulsa – USA) and with our business stakeholders around the world. What you need is:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or master’s in Information Management, Computer Science, and other relevant education
  • At least 5 years of working experience and 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner in a distributed Agile Software Development setting experience utilizing agile delivery processes and tool chain
  • Experience with CRM systems is required and experience in any Salesforce Clouds is an added advantage
  • Strong drive for success and high level of commitment
  • Good understanding of system integration technologies and/or software development
  • Strong analytical skills and business understanding
  • Excellent communication skills, high commitment, self-responsibility, and customer orientation
