SHAPE THE FUTURE OF LEGAL AT HILTI
Lead the global Legal Operations agenda for Hilti’s Legal, Compliance & IP (“Legal”). Translate Hilti’s Lead 2030 strategy and Legal Vision into a scalable operating model, measurable business outcomes and a sustained program of digital, process and service-delivery improvement. Act as a strategic partner to the Group General Counsel. This role is part of the Global Legal Leadership Team, with enterprise-wide influence and accountability.
This full-time position is available as soon as possible. Limited travel is required for this position.
What You'll do
In this role, you’ll shape how Legal operates globally, turning strategy into scalable solutions and measurable business impact. You’ll do this by:
- Setting the global Legal Operations strategy, roadmap and governance, translating priorities into clear plans, investments and outcomes.
- Leading the Legal technology, data and AI agenda, from solution selection and implementation to responsible use and sustainable adoption.
- Simplifying and improving how Legal works through user-centered workflows, self-service solutions, knowledge management and automation.
- Building trusted data, dashboards and performance measures that demonstrate impact across cost, capacity, quality, risk and stakeholder experience.
- Strengthening planning, budgeting, spend transparency and collaboration with external providers and outside counsel.
- Leading global transformation programs and bringing people together across regions to deliver lasting value.
- Building and developing an inclusive, high-performing Legal Operations capability, fostering collaboration, continuous learning and innovation.
- Partnering with the Group General Counsel and Legal leadership to shape priorities, investments and key decisions.
What You’ll Bring
Here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- A university degree in business, law, technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Significant experience in Legal Operations, business transformation, strategy execution or a comparable function, with experience leading complex transformation initiatives in an international environment.
- Strong understanding of legal technology, data and AI-enabled solutions, combined with experience turning strategy into practical plans and measurable business value.
- Experience leading and developing teams, with the ability to build alignment and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders across functions, regions and cultures.
- Strong communication, sound judgement and integrity, with professional fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
