Software Quality Assurance Engineer
CrewCenter is looking for seasoned Software test engineer to join our software development team with experience in testing large scale applications/features in a cloud environment. The candidate will be working closely with key members of the organization to identify, establish and drive innovation in the SaaS products at Hilti.
What You'll do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, design test cases, and provide input on testability aspects.
- Understanding and focus on our business goals.
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to identify and prioritize tests scenarios based on business impact and risk assessment.
- Create, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test cycles within Jira Zephyr.
- Create, execute, and maintain end-to-end test automation scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
- Perform regression and integration testing to identify and report defects early in the SDLC.
- Emerge QA trends to continuously improve our testing process.
- Mentor and guide Junior QA engineers.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SW Testing, with a Bachelors/Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or other technical related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Very good knowledge of testing principles, techniques, QA methodologies, processes, and best practices
- Capabilities of testing features end to end across all system components i.e. Backend (REST/GraphQL), Web & Mobile apps.
- Should have hands-on experience of writing test scripts in Java and on Selenium/Appium test framework.
- Proactiveness in suggesting and implementing systematic QA approaches.
- ISTQB certified is an added advantage
- Very good test automation skills with experience of developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and test automation suites (preferred Robot framework).
- Always looking for improvements both on self & team levels.
- Passionate about learning new things.
- Team player with strong structural, analytical, and critical thinking.
- Working experience with Agile/scrum, with good understanding of SDLC and the role of QA there.
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in English
