What's the Role?

This position provides technical support and drives sales (buying and non-buying) consistent with Hilti’s strategy. This position capitalizes on Hilti competencies to secure commitments for specification or approval of Hilti Products while adding value by assisting the design community and influencers in solving design problems using Hilti Products. This is a challenging role since it includes technical expertise and high level of communication skills (working with clients).

What does the role involve?

As a Field Engineer, you will be:
• Visiting assigned engineering and architectural firms, customer offices and construction projects on a regularly to identify opportunities to specify and use Hilti software, services and products.
• Conducting seminars for engineers, architects, and contractors to raise awareness and create understanding of all existing and new applications where Hilti products, software, and services are relevant. At the same time, learn about engineers’, architects’, and contractors’ future projects and explore potential business.
• Contributing towards the company’s growth and profitability through technical project management.
• Taking responsibility for key project specification of Hilti products, supporting the sales team in their efforts to sell a variety of Hilti solutions. This involves uploading and communicating specifications in Salesforce, working with the sales team to convert those specifications into sales and holding project meetings in conjunction with the local sales team.
• Provide technical support, training and advice to engineers, architects, customers and the sales team on all available software, services and products, consistent with the company's objectives and marketing strategy.
• Understanding of the digital technical resources and ability to explain their availability and use to our architects, engineers, customers, and sales team
• Support marketing team with the development, launch and maintenance of software, services and products.

What you need is:

• Master’s degree in building or civil engineering - familiarity with BIM as a plus. • Computer literacy: very good command of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook; AutoCAD. • Understanding the correlation between technical and commercial aspects of engineering work. • Interests in solving complex engineering problems based on analytical mindset. • Commitment, responsibility, results-driven and proactive approach. • Willingness to work in a cross-functional team. • Empathy and ability to work in multicultural environment. • Fluency in English language.
