Internship - Sustainable Sales and Marketing

What's the role?

We are seeking a highly motivated and curious individual to join our Sustainability team as a Generalist Intern. This role offers hands-on exposure to how sustainability comes to life in how Hilti supports our customers and how we operate as a business across 9 markets in APAC.

The ideal candidate is structured, analytical and comfortable working across diverse topics, from customer sustainability conversations to training materials, market research and data analysis. This internship is well suited to a student or recent graduate who wants to understand sustainability in the built environment and a large multi-national company and contribute to real projects with regional impact.

What You'll do

'- Support sustainability market and customer research, including identifying customer priorities, sustainability contacts, trends and relevant market developments.

  • Assist in preparing customer-facing and internal sustainability materials, including presentation decks, short summaries, training support documents and follow-up notes.

  • Help maintain and improve sustainability tracking documents and dashboards, including customer engagement, training attendance, pipeline activity and customer success story inputs.

  • Support the team in gathering, organising and summarising sustainability documentation in support to customer questions and requests.

  • Contribute to sustainability training and enablement activities for internal teams, including preparing pre-reads, updating materials, consolidating participant feedback and supporting follow-up actions.

  • Assist with research and coordination across operational sustainability topics such as circularity, recycling, logistics, facilities, car fleet transition and social community initiatives.

  • Participate in team meetings and community calls, capture key points and actions, and help translate discussions into clear next steps.

  • Provide general project-management and administrative support to progress sustainability initiatives across markets and functions.

What You’ll Bring

1. Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree programme in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Business, Engineering, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field.

2. Strong interest in sustainability, construction, corporate strategy and customer engagement.

3. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

5. Comfortable working with data, research outputs and structured documentation.

6. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to follow through on multiple workstreams.

7. Ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues across countries, functions and seniority.

8. Eagerness to learn, ask questions and contribute ideas in a fast-moving regional environment.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience preparing clear presentations or executive summaries.
2. Experience with market research, data analysis or reporting.
3. Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint or Microsoft Copilot/AI tools is a plus.
4. Interest and curiosity in Sustainability is a plus.
5. Previous internship, project work or volunteer experience related to sustainability, construction, consulting, marketing or business development is an advantage.
