Join our innovation team and help shape the next generation of intelligent power tools. You will support the development of functional demonstrators that communicate real-time application data directly to tool users. Working across sensors, electronics, display technologies and embedded software, you will evaluate emerging technologies and transform promising concepts into tangible prototypes that improve customer experience and support future product innovations.
This internship / working student position is available from November 2026. Required travel is up to 5 days per year.
What You'll do
You will support the development of functional demonstrators for future application-data visualization concepts in power tools.
- Investigate and evaluate sensing technologies for selected application use cases.
- Evaluate visualization technologies for communicating application data to tool users.
- Support the development and integration of hardware and embedded software prototypes.
- Build, test and validate proof-of-concept demonstrators.
- Perform benchmarking, document technical findings and collaborate with experts across electronics, software and mechatronics disciplines.
What You’ll Bring
- Enrolled Student (m/f/d) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of electronics and embedded software development.
- Experience with programming (e.g., C/C++) and hardware integration.
- Interest in sensors, visualization technologies and prototyping.
- Structured working style and ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams.
