Construction Project Manager

What's the role?

As a Construction Project Manager, you will coordinate the focus construction projects, orchestrating engineering, sales and corporate roles , special sales conversion and promoting jobsite solutions - responsible for overall project sales results.

The job holder needs to be able to orchestrate complex commercial deals, meeting sales targets and execution deadlines, while preserving quality and profitability and maximize Share of Wallet and professionally manage projects (T2/T3) or the local part of int. projects.

What does the role involve?

•Monitor and map all jobsite activities on targeted Key projects. Daily on site visit to secure good understanding and mapping of the jobsite
•Have a clear understanding of the structure of execution of the jobsite up to the sub-contractor level
•Operationally record all activities (events, leads, opportunities, tasks) on a daily basis and determine next steps in SFDC by developing ADP’s
•Maintain high data quality of the jobsite customers by registering in the system
•Coordinate all activities to win opportunities with Sales, Engineering, Logistics and Finance departments through the usage of SFDC
•Hold regular touchpoints for alignment purposes with the local entity and key stakeholders to secure conversion of opportunities to sales
•Activate LoD (Large order directive) procedure when and if necessary
•Increase SoW on specific jobsites by collaborating with sales and engineering (and all relevant stakeholders) by developing specifications on different jobsite applications
•Present Hilti's value-added proposition (products, services and software) by following the company's guidelines and talking to the relevant contact persons from the customer structure, being responsible to the decision making
•Build and lead capture team to maximizing topline and meeting profitability standards (P&L) on a assigned project portfolio

What you need is:

• University degree with a focus on Engineering • 2 - 4 years of proven experience in project management or engineering, preferably in the construction industry or a related field with international operations • Business fluent English • Proficient in MS Office applications • Strong Leadership skills to orchestrate Sales and Engineers functions • Strong knowledge of project management, Minimum 2 years of prior experience coaching sales people on how to implement Marketing programs and use systems to effectively maintain and grow the sales of a customer database • Solid critical thinking skills, analytical and structured way of working • Analytical mindset for data-driven decisions in construction logistics • Strong organizational , presentation & communication skills • Team player with a solution-focused mindset • Able to steer teams remotely • Availability for short business trips (when required)
