Key Project Field Engineer / Metro

What's the role?

The Key Project Field Engineer will be responsible of the sales result within the Key Projects active in Istanbul, working together with engineering and other Hilti salespeople.

In this role, we expect to find the right people who is;
• Able to create new opportunities on the jobsite with customers (Owners, designers, contractors and subcontractors) and maximize Hilti’s share of wallet/potential,
• Sales driven individual with an ability to convert opportunities into sales.

What does the role involve?

As the Key Project Field Engineer,  you’ll find yourself working closely with different teams to realize project potentials to achieve sales targets  (mostly in metro/tunnel projects ) . This includes working with external stakeholders such as our customers; and internally with the engineering and sales teams to identify business opportunities for customers working within the key projects.

Our Professional Sales Onboarding Program prepares all new sales employees ideally for their job in the first few months - this includes not only several weeks of training but also individual coaching on the job

What you need is:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Civil Engineering) ,
  • 4-5 years of jobsite experience in metro/tunnel projects,
  • Technical sales background is an advantage,
  • Experience working on key project is a clear advantage,
  • Competitive in English and native in Turkish,
  • AutoCAD, BIM, Revit or related software, Profis Engineering knowledge is a plus
  • Self-motivated and hands on profile with sales point of view ,
  • Good communicator and has strong interpersonal skills
  • Open to travel inside Turkey,
  • Active driver,
  • Resident in Istanbul.
