What's the role?

As a Working Student in the Chemical Regulatory Compliance team of the Business Unit Anchor (Chemical), you will support ensuring that Hilti’s products meet global chemical regulatory and sustainability requirements by developing solutions and documentation for our projects and products.

What does the role involve?

  • Monitoring and evaluating global chemical substance regulations
  • Assessing and communicating chemical regulatory compliance requirements for new and existing BU Anchor technologies and products
  • Implementing chemical regulatory compliance requirements (e.g. GHS, CLP, REACH, REACH-like) for BU Anchor products
  • Compliance documents management (e.g. SDS, GHS Label, customs declaration)
  • Compliance activities in the market organizations throughout the globe (e.g. annual report, import/export clearance)
  • Customer inquiries on compliance topics (e.g. hazardous chemicals, regulations)
  • Creating & maintaining composition related databases/certifications/notifications

What you need is:

  • Be currently enrolled to a master's degree program in chemistry, chemical/environmental engineering, materials science, environmental science or a related field
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a goal-oriented mindset
  • Affinity for reading, interpreting and applying chemical regulations
  • Team player mindset with excellent communication skills in an interdisciplinary and international environment
  • Fluent in German and English, any other language is a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of MS-Excel
  • Previous professional experience acquired via internships and working student positions, preferably in qualification, chemical regulatory assessments or development of construction and/or chemical products
  • 16 - 20 hours availability per week (mobile working max. 50%)
