What's the role?

With the next generation of structural connections, we want to improve the load paths of timber, concrete and hybrid structures. You will drive the next design decisions by combining structural simulations and parametric design. Thus, you will directly contribute to the connection development and help shaping our future connections.

What You'll do

Join an ambitious and international research team developing structural connections for sustainable constructions.

You will use structural analysis software e.g. Dlubal RFEM to analyse load paths and structural performance of building structures. Thereby, you will derive connection requirements and communicate those to our development team. You will use parametric design tools such as Python to streamline the analysis workflows and process the simulation results efficiently.

What You’ll Bring

  • Enrolled in a Master's program in civil engineering, or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of hand calculation methods to review a building structure.
  • Familiarity with Eurocode standards for building design.
  • Experience with structural analysis software such as RFEM is a plus, and knowledge of Python scripting will be considered a strong advantage.

What’s In It for You

We really value our people, and we've worked hard to develop a reward package that reflects this, creating your future to be just how you would want it. Some of our benefits include:

  • Connection with a diverse community of over 2,100 colleagues from 70 nationalities in a region where Liechtenstein, Austria, and Switzerland intersect.
  • Employee groups actively supporting causes like female empowerment and the LGBTQIA+ community.
  • Leisure activities like mountain biking and tennis.
  • Opportunities for community engagement both locally and internationally.
  • Shared e-bikes, an on-site gym, dining options, learning opportunities, free parking, fuel discounts, meditation/ relaxation rooms, and Hilti tool rental service.
