What's the role

We are looking for a Logistics Manager to lead the national logistics and distribution operations, driving strategy, efficiency, and service excellence across the supply chain. You’ll be at the forefront of shaping and executing logistics strategies to meet business goals, exceed customer expectations, and continuously optimize performance. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone with a strong logistics background, excellent people management skills, and a results-driven mindset.

What does the role involve?

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of the national logistics and distribution strategy in alignment with corporate goals.
  • Manage warehouse and transportation operations, ensuring cost-effective, high-performance logistics across the network.
  • Coach, lead, and develop the logistics team, building a strong, collaborative, and high-performing culture.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring product availability, adherence to FIFO principles, and optimal stock levels.
  • Monitor and manage KPIs.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and partners using structured tendering and SLA processes to ensure best-in-class service and cost efficiency.
  • Partner closely with internal teams and stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing and Operations

What you need is:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Logistics or a related field.
  • Relevant experience from
  • supply chain and/or logistics.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a results-driven team
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Experience in process improvement and implementing customer engagement and service strategies.
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
