What's the role?

We are looking for a highly-driven Head of Digital Marketing to lead our Manchester team on a 12month fixed-term basis.

In this role, you'll bring your expertise and a charismatic approach to allow you to influence senior stakeholders and inspire a team of channel specialists. You'll need to have courage to challenge the status quo, base decisions on insights, be performance oriented and value a flexible work environment. Ideally you have experience within the business-to-business (B2B) sector with a flare and passion for social media and its application to B2B marketing.

What does the role involve?

In this key role within Digital Marketing you will need to disrupt the business, challenge the status quo, manage change and deliver innovation and impact. You'll define and deliver the strategy to substantially grow the application and impact of Digital Marketing, managing and influencing senior stakeholders and global platform teams to support your disruption.

As Team Leader for a team eight digital channel specialists, you'll set ambitious targets and inspire a culture of collaboration, performance and innovation. You'll steer, coach, develop and evolve your team to include further development of the GB marketing team.

Supported by our eCommerce and Analytics Manager, you'll deliver insight and report on performance, and will be tasked to build out and develop our GB digital team driving our digital first approach through brand, customer platform and Net Sales growth.

Our Regional Head Office is based at Circle Square in Central Manchester, where we are located a short walk from Oxford Rd train station and St Peter's Square tram stop. What you need is:

Previous experience in Digital Marketing and eCommerce as a team lead.
Technical and operational experience of Analytics, eCommerce, Search, Email, Social, Influencer, Online PR, Marketing Automation and Content Marketing.
Experience in managing digital platform developments and user experience design
Ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
Experience working in global, omni-channel, direct sales organisation (B2B or B2C)
Experience in delivering multi-lingual, digital marketing campaigns
