Technological leadership and the optimal manufacturing technologies, combined with the overall optimization of our supply chain allow us to achieve our cost and service level targets. As a fully integrated member of the Strategic Supply and Manufacturing Engineering Team, you will have the opportunity to work on one of the following topics:
• Manufacturing technology feasibility and validation projects, or
• Value Stream analysis and optimization projects; or
• Supplier selection and product manufacturing qualification
This cross-functional project work requires intensive contact with Suppliers, our Plants, Development, Logistics and Marketing. It also provides ample management exposure and a unique opportunity to get an understanding of Hilti’s product development and product introduction processes.
Looking for candidate who is available for a 10 - 12 month long internship.

What does the role involve?
As an intern in our department, you will be fully involved in one or various projects as described above.
After an introduction period, you will take the lead for the respective project, including responsibility and accountability for the result.

In Strategic Supply Management, we define the setup of the global end to end supply chain for Hilti’s leading edge Direct Fastening products

What you need is:
- Bachelor or (preferably) Masters student in mechanical engineering or other engineering field
- Strategic and analytical thinking
- Proficiency in MS Office
- A systematic approach and good problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, with excellent English and interpersonal skills
- A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
