Responsible for product development, launch, product support, pricing, initiatives, and growth of Hilti’s product leadership (PLS) products. Product Manager is a key partner to our PLS marketing teams in Global Headquarters as well as our trade managers in Hilti North America (HNA) marketing.

What You'll do

  • Strategy – Define and communicate the strategy for PLS for the assigned Business Unit in Hilti North America (HNA)
  • Global integration – Align Hilti global PLS initiatives with HNA market needs; contribute best practice solutions to Hilti’s global PLS effort
  • Process leadership – Lead the implementation of the Hilti process Product Portfolio Management (PPM) with a focus on the HNA Time to Money (TTM) new product development activity
  • Trade Strategy – Support the efforts of the Hilti North America trade team to develop content and support account managers on product and application knowledge
  • Key deliverables – Responsible for assigned product lines revenue, gross margin, and operating expenses (OPEX)
  • Manage the matrix of HNA team members – Product Manager position is responsible to collaborate with materials management, direct marketing, market reach, training, marketing communications, trade, Hilti online, customer service, engineering, and the marketing organizations to properly support their product and control information flow
  • Building Information Modeling (BIM) Workflow Ownership – Develop a deep, first-hand understanding of customer BIM workflows across design, detailing, construction, and post-installation phases. Validate workflows directly with the market through customer engagement, jobsite visits, and structured discovery sessions to ensure Hilti's software and service direction.
  • Market Research – Monitor competitor activity, innovation, market reach strategy, pricing, and BIM/digital workflow offerings in the North American market. Work closely with the trade manager to communicate product improvement and portfolio enhancement opportunities to the HAG product development teams in the business units.
  • Opportunity Identification – Identify pain points across the BIM workflow that represent potential software development or service expansion opportunities. Author Business Opportunity Descriptions (BODs) that frame the problem, quantify the opportunity, and provide the business case for global development and service investment.
  • Training – Serve as the North American content expert for the assigned product line and associated BIM workflows. Collaborate with training and marketing communications to build training content, enablement materials, and product launch assets.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science, or related technical field, required; Master's Degree preferred
o Equivalent professional BIM experience may be considered in lieu of degree focus.
  • Minimum three (3) years combined experience in BIM software, BIM management, Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), or digital construction workflows — including hands-on fluency with industry standard tools such as Revit, Tekla Structures, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and IFC-based interoperability.
  • Proven success in motivating teams and exerting influence across multiple departments and geographies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of Hilti products, product applications, and customer preferred
  • Strong MS Office skills required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze sales and market data, draw conclusions, and present findings
  • Ability to learn quickly and operate effectively and independently in a dynamic environment
  • Proven effectiveness in developing and executing comprehensive business and launch plan
  • Presentation skills
  • Business strategy development experience preferred
