Senior Regional Finance Controller / META

We are looking for high potential candidates to join our company as a Senior Regional Financial Controller for the META Region. This role will have direct impact in our business and we are seeking highly driven candidates that are ready to join an outperforming and rewarding multinational company.

What You'll do

As a Senior Regional Finance Controller, you will report to Financial Controlling Manager and you will be responsible for financial administration, business planning and budgeting of META region and support the HUB team. You´ll provide strategic information that will impact directly our business and help the decision-making regarding customer profitability, pricing, sales, marketing and other areas. You will be responsible from ensuring the accuracy of financial and management accounts.

Reporting

  • Provide monthly management summary with proper comments via analyzing data from various resources. Ensure the presentation is completed accurately and on time
  • Cost center management and OPEX control where relevant
  • Lead Performance reviews (scenario’s, analysis topline, margin, OPEX, asset management, specific items, etc), to create transparency of financial results and business performance
  • Proactively provide the necessary transparency to upper management to drive profitable decision making
  • Closely work with the finance shared service center on process optimization (T&E/AP/AR/GL). To be a key person for month/year end closing according to defined schedule.
  • Work closely with Finance Leadership to prepare monthly and periodic financial reports, forecasts and budgets

Performance improvement
  • Prepare daily and weekly KPI’s, monthly performance summary reports
  • Lead actual result reporting, variance analysis, rolling operational forecasts
  • Analyze the budget, forecasts and financial analysis of business performance
  • Track Opex actuals vs. budget. Identify deviations, discuss root cause with department heads
  • Lead budgeting process end-to-end. Review proposed budget submissions from department managers for accuracy and completeness
  • Seek to identify opportunities for improvement in operations and make suggestions for improvements and costs savings

Accounting
  • Work closely with Shared Service center during month end closing
  • Handle external and internal audits
  • Support Internal Control System compliance including but not limited to: internal audit follow up actions, maintaining the internal control system, standardizing and optimizing work process, reviewing and updating policy and guidelines

What You’ll Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance , Accounting or Business Administration
  • MBA or Post-graduation is highly desirable
  • Minimum 4 years of Financial, Business, P&L experience
  • Experience in one of Big 4 audit firms is an asset
  • Sound knowledge in IFRS and accounting principles
  • Strong reporting and analyzing skills, ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills including expertise in MS Excel
  • Ability to derive insights, create recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English
  • Expertise in SAP is desirable
