Drive Supply Chain Excellence Through Smart Material Planning
We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially driven Material Planner to optimize material flow, inventory planning, and product availability across the business. This role partners closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting, efficient procurement, and seamless customer delivery performance. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, ERP expertise, and the ability to manage inventory and service levels in a fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environment.
What You'll do
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to create a sales forecast to steer the Supply Chain to achieve targeted sales and delivery performance
- Manage the flow of materials within Market Organization for a specific Business Unit ensuring that there is an optimisation of stock and service level at all locations in line with company objectives
- Plan and purchase for business unit / trade basket portfolio(s)
- Manage product availability to achieve corporate service levels
- Manage inventory levels to achieve working capital targets
- Support sales channels in providing world class customer service
What You’ll Bring
- Relevant education and experience (experience in material planning and inventory management preferred)
- Proficient with ERP system including DRP/MRP, purchasing, inventory modules and SAP/APO
- Attention to detail, strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills working in a fast-paced commercial environment involving multiple key stakeholders
