Production Engineering Manager

Turn Demand into a Production Plan That Delivers.

On the demand side, Forecasting and Demand Management is the primary feed into both Sales & Operations Planning and Master Scheduling while on the supply side Capacity Planning is the primary feed. The Production Engineering Manager must tie demand at the earliest stages to production staffing to ensure that the sum of the individual items in Master Schedule matches the Production Plan. Additionally, future capacity allocation is based solely on the connection between early project development and execution.

  • Develop and standardize scheduling methodologies and planning processes.
  • Identify and resolve demand, supply, and capacity constraints.
  • Run scenario planning to proactively identify and mitigate risk.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities within the Master Production Schedule.
  • Plan and manage dependent and independent demand schedules.
  • Optimize labor and equipment utilization while accounting for seasonal fluctuations.
  • Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
