At Hilti, we're looking for a motivated Technical Support Engineer to join our Engineering team in Dubai. In this role, you will provide technical expertise and engineering support to both customers and internal teams, helping deliver innovative and reliable solutions across a variety of construction projects.
You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Project Management, and Engineering teams to ensure technical excellence, compliance, and outstanding customer support.
What You'll do
As a Technical Support Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare technical submittals, technical letters, warranties, and responses to consultants' comments.
- Complete basic engineering calculations and designs for anchor, rebar, firestop, and installation system applications.
- Prepare material take-offs and bills of quantities (BOQs) based on project requirements.
- Review engineering drawings, including plans, sections, and technical details.
- Support customers, Account Managers, Customer Service, and field teams with technical guidance and project-related requests.
- Provide timely technical support via phone and email while managing incoming inquiries effectively.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, and Project Management teams to develop high-quality technical documentation.
- Maintain and update technical datasheets, approvals, certificates, third-party test reports, and other product documentation.
- Maintain accurate engineering records, including project approvals, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Support certification renewals and vendor registration requirements.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge of Hilti products, applications, engineering software, and construction standards.
What You’ll Bring
'- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
- 0-2 years of experience in construction, engineering, or a related field
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, sections, and technical details
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to review CAD drawings
- Basic understanding of BIM and engineering design tools
- An analytical mindset and an interest in solving technical engineering problems
- Strong learning agility and willingness to develop within the engineering field
- Good time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple incoming requests
- Ability to work independently while seeking guidance for more complex technical situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multicultural and cross-functional environment
- Currently based in the UAE or able to commute or relocate from within the UAE
