Executive Talent Acquisition Parter

The Executive Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for identifying, engaging, and nurturing relationships with high potential, senior leadership and director level candidates while partnering closely with internal executives to drive high impact hiring decisions. This role blends executive search, market intelligence, and high-touch candidate experience, ensuring the organization attracts worldclass leadership talent.

This position requires exceptional relationship-building skills, deep research capability, and comfort operating with a high degree of confidentiality.

What You'll do

  • Lead end-to-end executive and strategic search processes, including requisition intake, role alignment, sourcing strategy design, candidate assessment, interview management, and offer execution. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the ATS as the system of record, while working in partnership with other HR technologies such as HCM and CRM to ensure data accuracy and visibility.
  • Facilitate in-depth search alignment discussions with senior leaders, uncovering critical competencies, success criteria, and market considerations. Translate business needs into a tailored executive search strategy that incorporates assessment rigor, market insights, and competitive intelligence.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of senior-level talent, including resume reviews and executive-level screenings that evaluate leadership capabilities, cultural alignment, strategic impact, and organizational fit.
  • Develop, execute, and refine advanced sourcing strategies to identify and engage high caliber executive and strategic impact candidates. Leverage market research, competitive mapping, and proactive outreach to build diverse, qualified slates of senior level talent.
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional partners across Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Talent Attraction, HR Business Partners, and other Centers of Expertise to deliver a seamless and high quality hiring process aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership throughout the executive recruitment lifecycle, offering insights on talent availability, market trends, candidate assessment, and process expectations. Proactively escalate risks or challenges to TA and HR leadership as needed.
  • Oversee and facilitate the executive offer process, balancing candidate advocacy with organizational objectives. Ensure all offers align with compensation frameworks, approval processes, and market benchmarks while maintaining clear communication with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong awareness of functional and geographic talent markets, sharing real time insights and recommendations with TA leadership to help the organization remain competitive in attracting senior level and strategic talent.
  • Represent Hilti’s employer brand across relevant executive and career focused platforms, delivering a high touch candidate experience and reinforcing the organization’s employer value proposition in every interaction.
  • Partner across the Talent Acquisition function on strategic initiatives, supporting process improvement efforts and contributing to best practice development for executive hiring excellence.
  • Achieve responsibilities in alignment with assigned KPIs to support both local and global Talent Acquisition objectives.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support evolving business needs and strategic talent priorities.
  • Manage relationships with external executive search and recruiting agencies as needed, including briefing on role requirements, evaluating performance, ensuring alignment with Hilti’s expectations and standards, and coordinating candidate flow to support strategic and executive level hiring priorities.

What You’ll Bring

  • This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization or visa sponsorship (including initial, transfer, or extension), and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and remain authorized for the duration of employment without the need for sponsorship.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, required
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of combined relevant HR, recruiting experience required.
  • Proven success identifying and engaging passive senior-level & strategic talent.
  • Self-leadership skills to work independently with limited direction to achieve consistent results
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, sometimes competing, priorities and a high volume, always-on recruitment cycle
  • Proven track record of attracting, assessing, maintaining and hiring quality talent while maintaining a positive candidate experience
  • Proficiency with sourcing tools: LinkedIn Recruiter, talent CRMs, market intelligence platforms.
  • A continuous improvement mentality in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and exceptional customer service
  • Ability to maintain high levels of data quality to build insights that influence decision-making
  • Strong influencing skills in all directions and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience in driving a diverse candidate pipeline and the ability to champion this with hiring managers, including the ability to write inclusive job advertisements
  • Outstanding organizational ability, attention to detail and follow-up
  • Outstanding communication, relationship management, and executive presence skills.
  • High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English or French/English) skills, a plus
  • Professional certifications in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP), a plus
