Digital Business Analyst
The role of Digital Business Analyst is to partner with the customer, product owner and their manager to understand business problems and processes, identify potential solutions, and define business requirements for digital software projects. The BA is responsible for working with customers to understand, define and recommend solutions in the form of integration requirements, features/epics, user stories, and other document artifacts; then supporting throughout the planning, development, testing, and release activities to ensure that the business requirements are delivered.
What You'll do
- Support the manager and customer to define the business requirements by working impartially with business stakeholders to reach the best possible conclusions and/or decisions about a problem or issue, with a clear focus on delivering value
- Work closely with customers to create clear and concise documentation to represent a business process or specify a solution using common modeling techniques such as business process diagram or sequence diagrams
- Manage project delivery end to end to perform necessary analysis to determine if a solution is feasible from a technical, economic, legal, operational, and schedule perspective
- Identify, document, analyze, prioritize, monitor, and groom requirements to facilitate integrations, software delivery throughout the sprint planning, sprint, acceptance testing, and release cycles
- Use common quality assurance processes, tools, and techniques to determine if a software product or service being developed meets the specified requirements
- Work in global cross-functional teams as a liaison between local process experts, global process managers, software development vendors, and fellow global IT team members to ensure project deliverables are met
- Collaborate with other Business Analysts to learn and leverage best practices across the organization
- Additional duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field required
- At least 2 years of experience in digital/software industry
- E commerce experience, B2B systems, E procurement systems is preferred
- Experience in an Agile Software Development setting, preferred
- Demonstrate learning agility, tendency and natural sense of curiosity to seek answers to relevant business questions
- Broad general knowledge of current and relevant information technology including hardware, software, and programming languages
- Desire to work in a global environment to build collaborative relationships and accomplish goals
- Effective communication skills to share and explain insights and results in simple and meaningful way
