Credit Control Executive

We're looking for customer-focused credit control professionals in town to kick start their careers in a rewarding, high-performing, international company. The role involves achieving the credit and collection objectives of the organization and striking a balance between maintaining excellent working relationships with customers and ensuring timely payments.

What You'll do

Lead detailed credit risk assessments by analyzing customer financial statements, credit reports, payment behaviors, and industry trends to support sound credit decisions.

Develop, refine, and validate credit scoring models and risk methodologies to enhance accuracy in risk evaluation and credit limit recommendations.

Monitor and manage the receivables portfolio, identifying emerging risks and delivering data-driven insights through comprehensive risk dashboards for management.

Handle complex or high-risk accounts, structuring payment plans and resolving disputes to mitigate exposure and improve cash flow performance.

Act as the key liaison with Internal Audit, ensuring credit and collection processes are well-documented, compliant, and audit-ready.

Support ISO compliance and audits by maintaining robust documentation, controls, and process adherence.

Strengthen and uphold Internal Control Systems (ICS), proactively identifying gaps and recommending effective risk mitigation measures.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in credit and collections, including process optimization, automation, and e-invoicing enhancements.

Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, and external banking partners to balance commercial objectives with prudent risk management.

Provide guidance and informal mentorship to junior team members, sharing best practices in credit analysis and risk management.

What You’ll Bring

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW) are highly desirable.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Knowledge of audit principles and ISO compliance.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
