In this role, you will support our Research & Development organization as a strategic sparring partner, helping to turn innovative ideas into successful solutions. By combining strong business acumen, financial expertise, and effective stakeholder management, you will create transparency, identify opportunities, and contribute to the successful execution of our corporate strategy.
This position is designed as a development opportunity. Following successful development over approximately three years, it offers attractive career prospects in more senior roles within Hilti’s international organization.
What You'll do
- Provide strategic business partnering to the R&D business areas within Electronic Tools & Accessories
- Act as a trusted sparring partner to senior management on strategic and financial matters
- Create transparency around business performance and critically challenge the status quo
- Define and implement initiatives that support the achievement of the company’s strategy
- Prepare sound decision-making materials for management and support strategic decision-making processes
- Initiate and steer activities that foster innovation, product differentiation, and profitable growth
- Take ownership of performance management processes and drive their continuous improvement
- Build a strong international network through close collaboration with the Global Head of Business Development & Finance
What You’ll Bring
- + 5 years of professional experience in finance business partnering or in the strategic management of a business area within an international environment
- A successfully completed degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field, ideally complemented by an MBA
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to translate financial insights into clear recommendations and tangible business results
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a passion for acting as a trusted sparring partner at all levels of the organization
- A global mindset combined with strong strategic thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to set clear priorities
- High learning agility, ambition, and motivation to take ownership and continuously develop
- Experience in leading and managing complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Excellent English skills; additional languages are an advantage
- Proficiency in SAP CO/FI and advanced Excel skills
- Willingness to relocate internationally in the medium term to take on a more senior specialist or leadership role within Hilti’s global organization
