Drive efficient Jira workflows with smart AI Automation.
This working student role supports Lifecycle Management (LCM) operations by ensuring transparency, efficiency, and continuous improvement of Jira-based workflows. You will work closely with the LCM single point of contact to maintain operational excellence, identify risks early, and prototype AI-driven automation solutions that reduce manual effort and accelerate response times.
This part-time position is available immediately. Regular on-site collaboration in Kaufering is part of the role.
What You'll do
- Maintain and structure the LCM Jira board: triage, prioritize, categorize, and follow up while ensuring clear ownership and visibility of open, in-progress, and blocked items.
- Identify and implement AI-based automation opportunities such as automated ticket creation, intelligent routing, duplicate detection, and AI-assisted classification.
- Build dashboards and reports to track ticket aging, SLA adherence, throughput, and bottlenecks, including weekly summaries with key insights and risks.
- Apply escalation criteria and proactively follow up with stakeholders to prevent delays and ensure timely progress of critical items.
- Create and maintain process documentation and diagrams in Confluence for workflows such as ticket intake, prioritization, and escalation.
- Support app-related verification testing by documenting test steps, results, and identified issues.
What You’ll Bring
- Ongoing studies in Industrial Engineering and Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Structured and analytical working style with attention to detail
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools (preferred)
- Interest in AI, automation, and process optimization
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
