What's the role?
The BIM (Building Information Modeling) Modeler is an essential contributor to the Hilti BIM services in both Installation Systems (IS) and Fire Stop (FS) applications. This person works directly with both field teams and the customer to establish the BIM service offer, project timelines and ensures the BIM Service deliverables to match the contract details and customer expectations. They will do this by leading a team of modelers who are responsible for the creation of model elements as directed.

What does the role involve?
- Check dimensions and relationships of components to each other and to the whole.
- Utilize tools and software interfaces to customize Revit models and reduce drawing turn-around time.
- Manage Revit Operators, Modelers, and third-party vendors, delegating tasks and ensuring timelines are met.
- Set up and maintain central and local models, project folder structures, naming conventions, and document archival using BIM360.
- Create and execute BIM execution plans for each project.
- Establish document storage, access, and sharing protocols, and attend BIM coordination calls with internal and external parties to track progress and perform clash detection.
- Lead change management by communicating customer requests, documenting change orders, and utilizing the RFI process to gather information.
- Research and adopt new technologies to improve team productivity and lead time for models and shop drawings.
- Document time allocation and submit per billing cycle.
- Create and maintain training plans for CAD team development.

What you need is:
- Associate’s degree in Design Drafting Technology or equivalent required.
- 6+ years of hands-on Revit experience required.
- Advanced expertise in BIM processes, documentation standards, ACC, and Navisworks required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction specifications, and technical documents; strong understanding of dimensioning and tolerance principles required.
- Working knowledge of industry-related construction materials, methods, and practices required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
- Intermediate knowledge of SharePoint required.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage large volumes of reference information in both hardcopy and electronic formats required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders required.
