Finance Rotational Program Trainee

What's the role?

The Finance Rotational Role is a 24-month entry-level program that provides participants the opportunity to experience different areas within Finance. Candidates will work in three rotations in different functional areas of Finance, namely in Credit and Collections, General Ledger Accounting, and Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis. The first 2 rotations are located in our North American Operations Center in Tulsa, OK and the final rotation in our North American headquarters in Plano, TX. In addition to experiential learning assignments, rotational team members will also receive leadership and career coaching from Finance Leaders to reinforce their development. At the end of the rotation, candidate will be placed into a full-time position.

What does the role involve?

  • The rotation within Credit & Collections will provide exposure to risk mitigation, fraud prevention, and how to leverage reporting and analysis in steering decision making. This rotation is located in Tulsa, OK
  • The rotation on the General Ledger Accounting Team assists in the preparation of financial statements and analysis for assigned Market Organizations. It provides exposure to the relationship between balance sheet and income statements and how accounting contributes and collaborates with roles within the Shared Service Center and the broader finance team. This rotation is located in Tulsa, OK
  • The rotation on the Financial Planning, Reporting, and Analysis team provides exposure to the general controlling activities and their relation to the Profit & Loss statement and the annual tasks important for the performance management cycle. This rotation is located in Plano, TX
  • In addition to daily responsibilities of reaching established targets in a functional area; the participant may be required to support special management projects.
  • Ensures company policies are followed.
  • Consistently challenge the status quo, act as change agent for Finance
  • Identify opportunities for and drive continuous process improvement for efficiency gains, working with peers and cross-functional teams to implement improvements.
  • Execute proper internal controls for assigned Market Organization(s) and ensure compliance with Group requirements and deadlines.
  • Understand the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and continuously look for areas of improvement.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

What you need is:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred.
  • Strong communication (verbal, written) skills.
  • Strong computer skills including but not limited to MS Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP S4/Hana preferred.
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to adapt and drive organizational evolution.
  • Desire to work in collaboration with highly diverse teams.
  • Early adopter mentality with a willingness towards continuous learning
  • Analytically and conceptually savvy with strong functional expertise in Accounting and Finance.
  • Proactive mindset and hands-on approach.
  • Ambition to develop within the finance organization.
