We’re looking for a leader with strong team management skills, excellent communication, and deep expertise in warehouse operations (inbound, storage, outbound) and transportation/distribution. Experience managing national carriers and third-party logistics partners is essential, along with a strong customer service orientation and ability to handle specific project needs.
What You'll do
- Responsible for the leadership, development and coaching of Logistics Team Members
- Responsible for the leadership of the Logistics Team to develop and implement a consistent distribution strategy based on global framework
- Development and implementation of communications to achieve continual improvement of our logistics and distribution value and position
- Manages warehouse and transportation costs to set budgets, productivity KPIs
- Manages service to the customer through meeting / exceeding set service levels, KPIs
- Manages Inventory levels and product code life, (FIFO)
- Manages staff resources according to underlying current & future sales trends / sets KPIs
- Liaise and negotiate with Suppliers, (use of Corporate Tender & SLA process)
- Ensures effective communications & teamwork within department and inter department
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree required, a Master's degree is a nice to have
- Advanced English skills are required
- SAP knowledge is a plus
- Strong supply chain and third party logistics provider experience, distribution and transportation network knowledge, and commercial competence managing operations with different industries, different states, 3PL
- Extensive and proven competence in process improvement (LEAN, 5S)
- Understanding of P&L levers (what influences where)
- Demonstrated leadership, communication and presentation skills
- Has demonstrated consultative, influencing and negotiation skills
- Able to manage operational and strategic aspects at the same time
