What's the role?
This position ensures internal and external customers receive quality answers to technical inquiries regarding the use and/or application of Hilti Anchor and Direct Fastening (DF) products and creates engineering product submittals for field personnel to facilitate the sale of these key products. Work in a dynamic environment with other product support engineers addressing a variety of customer and project types across North America.

What does the role involve?
- Provide technical sales support through telephone and email related business.
- Provide design calculations and technical submittals for roof diaphragm design to Hilti clients working on some of the largest construction projects across North America.
- Meet assigned deadlines for project assignments.
- Remain current in the knowledge of building codes relative to the application of Hilti Anchor and Direct Fastening products.
- Understand and apply approvals and listings for Hilti Anchor and Direct Fastening products correctly in verbal and written communication with customers.
- Provide engineering support through the composition of technical response regarding the application of Hilti products for external customers.
- Collect customer data and provide leads to Field Engineers in order to maximize the Hilti customer experience.
- Assist internal team members including field engineers and account managers is tackling different structural application problems.
- Complete defined projects (e.g. presentations, technical bulletins, small testing projects, and other engineering assignments) in order to help support the activities of Hilti Field Engineers and other sales personnel.
- Protect Hilti from liability exposure through utilization of sound engineering judgment.
- Additional duties as assigned.
