What's the role?

We’re excited to introduce the role of Strategic Pricing Project Manager to our Pricing team—a critical role to drive our journey towards pricing excellence. This position will lead key regional strategic initiatives, delivering impactful outcomes that shape the future of pricing within E1 (Northern European Region)

As the Strategic Pricing Project Manager, you will spearhead cross-border projects, aligning multiple departments, and driving high-quality outcomes. A major focus will be on Revenue Development Projects in collaboration with Product Leadership Strategy and Trade teams, and establishing a comprehensive framework for Fleet Management (FM) pricing across the region. You’ll also be instrumental in transforming pricing strategies for long-term agreements, ensuring consistency, transparency, and fairness for large-scale customers operating across markets.

What does the role involve?

  • Lead Pricing Strategy Projects: Develop and execute frameworks to improve pricing strategies, enabling sales leaders to make efficient and profitable decisions while reducing operational workload.
  • Drive Revenue Development Projects (RDP): Lead RDP with a pricing-first approach, ensuring alignment with our global strategy by continuously using relevant metrics to adjust strategies as needed to ensure optimal results.
  • Enhance pricing strategies: Create a robust, transparent pricing approach for large and complex customers, fostering profitability and operational efficiency. Build a regional monitoring system to track and refine performance.
  • Be the Go-To Expert: Leverage market, industry, and competitive data to guide stakeholders, ensuring pricing strategies align with customer needs and business goals.

Our Regional Head Office is based at Circle Square in Central Manchester, where we are located a short walk from Oxford Rd train station and St Peter's Square tram stop. We offer a hybrid working pattern between the office and home and different ways to work flexibly so please feel free to talk about what flexibility means to you at your interview.

What you need is:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, marketing, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in price related topics
  • Work closely with wide variety of stakeholders providing excellent business partnering (market/entity leadership team, sales force, product management, finance and trade management – both locally and globally)
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics and how different functions contribute to creating value for customers.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • A results-driven approach, focusing on measurable outcomes that drive business growth
