What's the Role?
The purpose of the role is to analyze, repair and test Hilti tools in line with global repair and workflow standards. The role involves working and participating in a lean environment, working efficiently, and contributing to continuous improvement. The job holder needs to sustain a passion for the customer as a trigger to drive service levels and repair quality.

What does the role involve?
- Ensure minimal back log of machines.
- Ensure that all relevant tests are carried out by Repair Technician.
- Check all the received goods for damages or wrong goods upon their receipt, place into the spare parts room. (Arrange next step for any damaged or wrong goods)
- Ensures by physical count of goods received that quantities agree with those stated in the suppliers’ documents.
- Ensure approval from customer is documented before tools send out to repair technician
- Ensures that goods are correctly issued to repair technician and properly documented.
- Undertakes random checks on all spare parts to ensure that all spare parts are in good order and in sufficient stock.
- Takes all necessary actions to cleanliness of the stores and orderly stacking of goods on the shelves.
- Prepared all stocks for an orderly manner of stocktaking.
- Actively utilized and provides feedback on the relevant information system. (i.e. oracle or SAP) used to track repair statistics.
- Assists in repairing customer tools should back log occur due to increased repair volume, absent technicians or other reason
- Observe and maintain all safety requirements with regards to the safe use of all workshop machines and repair equipment ensuring that they are all in good working conditions.
- Provide recommendations to management for process improvements.
- Contributes to a clear and tidy working environment within the spare parts area.
- Other add hoc duties as and when required.

What you need is:
- Certificate/ Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical or related discipline
- 1-2 years of experience in repair and maintenance administration
- Proficient in MS Office e.g. Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Good communication skills in dealing with internal and external parties
- Well organized and self-motivation
- Prefer someone with the potential to excel their career at Hilti.
