What's the role?
You are part of a cross functional project team developing prototypes and methods for highly differentiated products related to precast concrete structures. You proactively participate in feeding our innovation pipeline, evaluate and mature concepts and verify their potential in tests. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will challenge the status quo with your hands-on mentality and push for fast learning cycles.
Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for 6-12 months

What does the role involve?
Incubate, develop and mature innovative, new solutions for a highly productive and sustainable construction industry. We want to make construction better by boosting productivity and sustainability. Step into the shoes of our end customers and help us scout new areas where our products allow to rethink construction.
As an intern you will significantly contribute to develop, test and optimize concepts for new products. This includes all phases from design to final validation. You will use your hands-on mentality to bring visions to life including interdisciplinary engineering activities, e.g. ideation for solutions, mechanical design, structural calculations and interdependencies with the connections, mechanical laboratory work, data processing and analysis, enhancing usability, etc.

What you need is:
- Enrollend in Bachelor's or Master's program in civil, structural or mechanical engineering, ideally with focus on structural design for the whole internship period
- Knowledge and practical experience in structural design is a plus
- Willingness and creativity in finding solutions for interdisciplinary technical challenges
- Passion for innovation and product development
- A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent English skills (German skills advantageous)
