Purpose of position
- Professional and disciplinary employee management and strategic orientation and further development of the relevant area.
- Responsibility for employee management, people coaching and development/contribution as well as ensuring efficient processes and structures.
- Project and resource requirement planning in the mechanical and electrical departments for the conception, planning and commissioning of assembly lines as well as monitoring and compliance with the required quality, deadlines and costs.
- Setup, organization, coordination and support of external partners from order placement to completion.
- Planning and supervision of trainees (apprentices, students, interns).
- Coordinating and carrying out approval-relevant tests on machines/systems and instructing subordinate employees.

Experience & Qualifications
- Completed technical studies (mechanical / electrical engineering or similar).
- Pronounced, goal-oriented communication in English.
- Min. 5 years of relevant professional experience in leading and designing of product assembly line or production equipment development.
- Min. 2-3 years’ leadership experience and project management experience.
- Advanced knowledge / hands on experience in CAD tools, tolerance concepts, Design to X (Design to Cost or Design to Manufacturing).
- Experience in an international working environment beneficial.
- Entrepreneurial thinking, assertiveness and team orientation.
- Hands-on mentality and experience in plant engineering.
Achieving Outstanding Results:
- Take full responsibility for leading assembly line projects including relocation projects from plants to plants.
- Develop and design assembly line or testing device for new product (Design for Assembly).
- Set up and implement industry-engineering standards to provide an economic production process.
- Develop and implement technology and engineering strategies in accordance with company overall business strategy.
- Achieving outstanding results in reference to quality, efficiency, overall productivity and project handling.
- Involve in assembly line optimization and continuous improvement (CIP) to continuously improve machine stability and reliability.
- Support online trouble shooting of assembly line and test equipment.
- Support on lean project and assembly line modification.
- Promote the teamwork and share experience / knowledge with other team members.
- Working on any other duty or project on which the incumbent is assigned by the direct supervisor.
