What does the role involve?

As a Business Developer for Mining, your primary responsibility will be the retention and growth of key mining industry accounts through strategic market penetration and sales development, both direct and indirect. You’ll work to achieve ambitious net-sales targets while building and sustaining strong multi-level relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the industry. Your experience and knowledge of the sector is essential and will assist you in increasing Hilti’s share of the market. You will lead in the crafting of the go-to-market strategy for the assigned accounts, leading its implementation through local and regional networking with our commercial customers. 

In this role, you can expect to travel frequently to mining sites across Turkey to establish and maintain close connections with clients on-site, providing hands-on support and ensuring our solutions align perfectly with their operational needs.

Your in-depth experience and understanding of the mining sector will be essential in enabling you to increase Hilti’s share of this competitive market. As a key player, you’ll develop and drive the go-to-market strategy for assigned accounts, leading its implementation through strategic networking at both local and regional levels with our commercial clients. You'll also act as a bridge between market insights and business development, delivering critical intelligence to Hilti’s internal teams and external partners. .

What you need is:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus), preferably in Mining-related areas
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Mining sector with a proven track record (sales experience is preferred)
  • Proficiency in English , both written and spoken, to communicate effectively within an international team
  • Demonstrated experience in working with large sales teams and navigating multi-channel B2B environments
  • A strong ability to influence and engage with key stakeholders across a matrix organization, acting as a strategic business partner
  • A background in creating client-focused, differentiated, and feasible solutions that meet specific industry needs
  • Excellent communication, networking, and self-management skills with a self-driven, autonomous approach to work
  • To be persuasive, sales driven, customer focused, and a team player,
  • Open to travel inside Turkey
