HR Operations Analyst (1 Year Contract)

What's the role?

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Operations Analyst to join our team. The individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of the onboarding process, from generating offer letters to handling employment verification and offboarding procedures. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of HR processes, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Global IT within Hilti is a truly global team with main hubs in Buchs (Switzerland), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Plano/Tulsa (USA). All locations have highly competent teams who work very closely together. Hilti`s Global IT team is known for their focus on sustainable value creation by translating latest IT innovations into value creating solutions & services.

What does the role involve?

  • Generate and distribute offer letters, employment contracts, and other relevant documents to new hires.
  • Collect and review all necessary documentation from new employees, including identification, tax forms, and banking information.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
  • Assist with the renewal process for employment and dependent passes for foreign employees.
  • Handle offboarding procedures, including processing termination paperwork.
  • Prepare and distribute promotional letters and other internal communication related to employee status changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and improve the onboarding process.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Update and maintain the employee handbook to ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

What you need is:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in HR or a related field, with a focus on onboarding and document management preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
