Operations Manager

Making Construction Better

As an Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring best-in-class execution of our manufacturing and supply chain activities at our strategic third-party partner, IS Yapı, in İzmir (Çiğli).

Acting as the key interface between Hilti and the production facility, you will drive operational excellence across production, fulfillment, and supply chain functions. Your mission will be to establish structured planning, ensure reliable execution, and continuously improve processes to support business growth and deliver outstanding customer experience.

What You'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end operational performance at the manufacturing site, ensuring efficient and high-quality execution across all key processes.

You will:

  • Drive production planning and execution, ensuring alignment between demand, capacity, and delivery timelines
  • Ensure availability of raw materials and components through effective forecasting, planning, and supplier coordination
  • Monitor and steer daily production activities, including prioritization, resource allocation, and performance tracking
  • Oversee fulfillment processes such as order preparation, packing, labeling, and dispatch readiness to ensure on-time delivery
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain execution, including purchase orders, shipment planning, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Implement and maintain production traceability, batch control, and reporting mechanisms
  • Monitor production costs, conduct detailed cost analysis, and support discussions and negotiations with IS Yapı
  • Support technical processes such as engineering drawing flow and new product setup in systems (e.g.Autocad)
  • Act as a driver of continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies, simplifying processes, and enhancing operational performance
You will work closely with cross-functional teams and the production partner to ensure that operations are structured, scalable, and aligned with Hilti’s quality and performance standards.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field
  • 5–10 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or facility operations (must-have)
  • Strong understanding of production planning and execution processes
  • Experience in supply chain and fulfillment operations
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools, with the ability to understand and work with technical drawings
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, planning, reporting)
  • Experience with planning tools/systems (Luca is a strong plus)
  • Structured, planning-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage and influence third-party stakeholders and drive performance
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Fluency in English
