International Business Developer Automotive with fluent Mandarin skills (m/w/d) - Hilti Germany

What's the role?

As International Business Developer (m/f/d) for our Hilti product portfolio, you will use your sales experience to support international customers in Automotive in Germany. You will be able to use your experience in strategic customer development, sales development (direct or indirect) and cross-hierarchical relationship management and therefore develop global key accounts with the aim of increasing Hilti's market share.

What does the role involve?

  • Supporting and developing global key accounts operating in the automotive sector; through strategic customer development, standardization, project specifications, sales development (direct and indirect) and multi-level relationship management with the aim of increasing Hilti's market share
  • Global customer development and targeted project tracking at application stage.
  • Developing a sustainable sales strategy for assigned customers and lead global implementation through Hilti Counterparts worldwide
  • Focusing on expanding an international project pipeline, independent of project and sales locations
  • Establishing Hilti as an international project partner
  • Providing current market information to the global teams to confirm and/or update segment strategies
  • Focus on projects with planning and execution internationally

What you need is:

  • Excellent language skills in Mandarin and English (German an advantage)
  • Successfully completed technical or business studies
  • Ideally technical know-how in the automotive or EV battery sector
  • Ideally already existing networks in the automotive / EV battery manufacturer sector as well as planners and system integrators
  • Management experience in sales desirable
  • Analytical and team-oriented way of working
  • Conceptual experience in setting up and implementing initiatives and strategies
  • Several years of professional experience in a multicultural environment or abroad
  • Sound knowledge of project management
  • High degree of independence and personal responsibility as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • Very good communication skills at senior management level
  • Affinity for technical products, services and software solutions
  • Experience in working with CRM systems and MS Office
  • Very high willingness to travel nationally within Germany, and internationally
