What's the role?
As a robotics business developer, you will drive Hilti’s robotics partnerships program, develop new business opportunities and support the market organizations to drive adoption of robotics solutions. The role has a global geographical scope, with a particular emphasis on Asian startups and Hilti market organizations.
You will be working in the Business Unit Measuring and Robotics - at the forefront of innovation, delivering products and solutions that help our customers be more productive, from measuring and layout tools to reality capture solutions and robotics. The product management team is mainly located at Headquarters in Schaan/Liechtenstein, is very diverse (8 nationalities) and has a good balance of gender and generation.

What does the role involve?
As the owner of the robotics startup program, you will be responsible for partnering with startups to broaden Hilti’s offering with construction robotics solutions. You will screen startups, engage selectively with them, test the product market fit with Hilti customers and develop collaboration that benefit the long-term development of startups and Hilti.
You will support the development of new business opportunities by scrutinizing the market and technology trends, understanding the customer’s needs, and assessing the business potential of potential robotics solutions. You will work closely with Hilti’s Asian and global market organizations to drive the adoption of robotics solutions.
You will be part of the global product management team of business unit measuring and report directly to the head of marketing and product management in Liechtenstein. The role is located at Hilti’s regional headquarter in Hong Kong and requires regularly travel within Asia and to Europe (~20%).

What you need is:
- Engineering background with a master’s degree from a reputable institution. MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales and/or marketing, familiarity with startups or construction a plus.
- Entrepreneurial and pioneering mindset, intrinsic motivation to create an impact.
- Passion for innovation and technology, curiosity and affinity to work with technical and engineering experts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and present complex topics with simple and powerful messages to customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
- Successful track record in working internationally. Fluency in English and Mandarin, Japanese a plus.
- Proven ability to analyze complex business problems, extract the essence and craft implementable solutions.
