Engagement Marketing Manager

What's the role?

You drive strategic marketing communication topics at Hilti (in particular leading engagement marketing/marketing automation) together with colleagues Asia-Pacific region and in close cooperation with the market organizations and global teams. Additionally, you are the strategic project lead for expanding our marketing communication activities to include demand generation in our region.

What does the role involve?

  • Responsible for the implementation of individual engagement marketing flows in Asia-Pacific Region in coordination with the 9 different markets of the region as well as with the global marketing team
  • Project management responsibility for selected engagement marketing campaigns in the region including implementation of omni-channel customer experience, engagement and state-of-the-art digital messaging.
  • Advancing Change Management and Strategic Engagement Implementing Marketing Topics in Asia-Pacific Region especially for orchestrating demand generation activities across the different digital & physical channels
  • Supporting physical sales channels in attracting highly qualified digital leads.
  • Project management in collaboration with designers, product marketing, sales, company representatives and other industry experts
  • Manage key performance by measuring the results of Engagement marketing activities through Power Bi, SFDC, Google Marketing Platform, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Search Engine Matrix platforms, etc
  • Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short- and long-term problems
  • Internal stakeholder management is key and a proactive, convincing hands-on strategic mindset is required.

What you need is:

  • A university (Master) degree in digital marketing, e-business, business or finance with results in upper-quartile
  • 7+ years’ experience in digital agency or corporate digital marketing roles (mandatory)
  • Leadership experience is a plus
  • Digital expert, experience in marketing automation & campaigns, use of digital tools (GA etc.)
  • Proven ability and experience with digital and web analytics and data tracking tools (e.B. Google Marketing Platform, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Facebook Attribution)
  • Strategic mind-set with result orientation
  • Strong facilitation & negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English; other languages appreciated
  • Experienced working in a multi-cultural and diverse environment
  • Evidence of acting as a strategic business partner through influencing and interacting with key stakeholders across a matrix organization.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to structure clear presentations and to simplify a financial message to non-digital stakeholders
  • A strong business acumen and visionary mindset balanced by hands-on behavior
  • Excellent communication skills & strong stakeholder management, analytical mindset
  • Strong proactivity, problem-solving skills and customer orientation
