What does the role involve?

As Engineering Trade Manager, you will play a central role in driving the commercial success of our technical product portfolio. You will lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives to increase sales, shape technical market offerings, and ensure our engineering solutions meet both local market needs and global ambitions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing a trade strategy for engineering solutions, aligning global roadmaps with local market demands.
  • Supporting and enabling technical teams by identifying capability needs, facilitating relevant training, and ensuring they are equipped to deliver customer value and implement the strategy effectively.
  • Collaborating with regional and global stakeholders to plan and implement go-to-market activities, technical content, and product launches.
  • Preparing and managing marketing and communication plans that position Hilti as a market leader among specifiers and decision-makers in the construction industry.
  • Monitoring and analyzing performance to ensure successful implementation, from early-stage engagement to specification and conversion to sales.

What you need is:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil or Construction Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally in a B2B environment.
  • Experience in technical sales, marketing, or leading technical teams is a plus.
  • Strong skills in project management, communication and analysis.
  • Fluency in both Danish and English.
