What's the role?
The purpose of the role is to translate business unit strategies into supply project portfolio, roadmaps and supply footprint development. The role involves identifying, planning and implementing cost of goods sold (CoGS), leading the supply strean in time to market (TTM) projects and developing a diverse and high-performing supply team.
This full-time position is available as soon as possible.

What does the role involve?
In this role, you will be the voice of supply within the BU management team, influencing the agenda and operations to enhance SPC productivity, product quality, availability, and the adoption of new technologies. You will demonstrate strong leadership skills to coach, motivate, and empower your team, utilizing situational leadership to bring out their best. Attracting and developing talent, you will nurture a robust team and ensure a solid succession pipeline. You will translate BU strategy into supply strategy, proactively reviewing supply and manufacturing footprints. With an affinity for progressive supply management and negotiation concepts, you will continuously improve practices within the BU. Building and nurturing relationships with suppliers, plants, and partners, you will drive SPC productivity, product quality, and lower throughput times. Your negotiation skills will be key in achieving these goals. You will foresee and develop new potentials in supply chain and procurement, integrating them into the organization. Operational discipline will be crucial to implement supply initiatives end-to-end and address issues with agility. You will also nurture a wide network across Hilti’s supply community and other relevant units to share best practices and drive supply topics.

What you need is:
• Translate BU strategy into BU supply project portfolio, roadmap and supply footprint development
• Develop and manage supply competitiveness, product cost productivity, supply flexibility & resilience, availability, quality, and enablement of new technologies
• Develop and execute BU CoGS project roadmap on time, in budget and with expected outcome
• Identify, select, build-up and develop strategic suppliers and manage the relation
• Build and develop a strong team of supply managers and supply engineers
• Build team competence regarding state-of-the-art Sourcing Excellence methods and ensure its usage
