Intern - Plant Controlling (m/f/x)

What's the role?

In this role you get the chance to drive the operational excellence journey of the plant in Schaan and partner with the controlling department. The internship will allow you to actively contribute to the plant’s annual productivity and cost performance targets.

Start date January 2025 or earlier, duration for at least 6 months, employment level to be discussed (minimum 60% up to 100%)

What does the role involve?

As an intern in our controlling team, you will immerse fully in the business operations by working closely with majority of plant leaders helping to understand our performance based on data such as production output, product availability, cost development, productivity, quality KPIs and many more dimensions. Therefore, reliability, good analytical skills combined with good stakeholder management are key for the role.

Your key responsibility will be to run, maintain and enhance different reports with focus on KPI monitoring as well as 1 or 2 bigger initiatives in which you can drive from definition, development and roll-out. Additionally, you will proactively support the team by taking on tasks and being responsible for them independently. Overall, it’s a great role for someone interested in gaining insights about how a manufacturing company is managed, likes to create impact and be working in a dynamic, international team.

What you need is:

  • Enrollment for the whole internship period in a Master’s program with an economic, business or technical background
  • Good IT and Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Bonus knowledge (not mandatory): Microsoft PowerBI
  • Enthusiasm to learn and drive to succeed
  • Strong team skills, interest in working in a multinational team
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English, German is a plus
  • High commitment and self-responsibility
  • A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
