What's the role?
As an Intern – Global Product Management, you will step into the shoes of a Product Manager for a specific product portfolio in one of our many Business Units (f.ex. BUs Anchors, Software, Measuring, Fire Protection, Direct Fastening, Power Tools & Accessories). You will help identifying gaps in our offering and defining the relevant product visions for new products that fit customer needs and Hilti strategy. You will work closely with Global Product Managers on prototypes and have real impact on future products. In a unique internship setup, you`ll gain hands on experience in product management and marketing within one of the most innovative companies in the industry.
Start date is flexible to the student`s availability, duration for at least 3 months, preferably for at least 6 months.

What does the role involve?
The purpose of the role is to provide the team member with an on-the-job learning experience as they complete their education and begin a career.
Lukas, Intern: At BU Measuring, I had the opportunity to work very closely with the entire marketing team and be involved in many different aspects of product management. On the other side, I also had ownership of several projects. One of the most exciting projects was when I worked on improving the prototype of a future accessory product.

What you need is:
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in technical, engineering and/or business (f.ex Marketing or similar) for the whole internship duration
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills with a sense for pragmatic solutions
- Proactive approach and self-reliant personality
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Powerpoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
