technologies. As part of a thesis on the topic of "Evaluation of SCM connections for Pouch Batteries", we offer you the

What does the role involve?
SCM (Single Cell Measurement) refers to the precise monitoring of each individual cell within a battery pack. By measuring key parameters, the performance and safety of the battery are ensured. Various technologies can be used to connect the individual cells to the electronics, including flex prints, cables, welded connections, or soldered joints. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate these connections.
Your tasks include:
- Research: Identify and analyze different SCM connection technologies for batteries
- Requirement Definition: Create a catalog of requirement, considering mechanical, electrical, and technological criteria
- Evaluation: Compare different concepts using a decision matrix (e.g., utility analysis)
- Validation: Verify the final concept through expert interviews or prototype testing, as far as the scope of the thesis allows

What you need is:
- Studies in the field of mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, technical physics, or a comparable discipline
- Strong technical understanding and interest in mechanical and electrical connections
- Analytical thinking and a structured working style
- High level of responsibility and motivation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- German language skills are an advantage
