Regional Social Media Program Manager, North Asia

What's the role?

We’re hiring a Regional Social Media Program Manager to drive social media programs across North Asia region (5 Market Organizations (MOs): Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Korea) and to directly manage and operate Hong Kong’s social media strategy and digital marketing initiatives.

For North Asia region (A1), you’ll drive strategy for internal employee advocacy program and external influencer programs, set standards, and enable local teams.

For Hong Kong market (MOHK), you’ll act as the end-to-end social media manager by planning the content and campaign calendar, publishing content, managing online communities, and optimizing performance.

What does the role involve?

Strategy, programs, and governance for North Asia region (A1)

  • Drive internal employee advocacy program (know as “Hilti Network”): activate and scale up the program with tool / content kits, employee engaging/training, governance, and recognition programs.
  • Support external influencer programs: architect frameworks, source/manage creators with Market Organizations (MOs) / agencies, ensure brand safety and performance optimization.
  • Partner with Global Digital (e.g. Sprinklr), MO Marketing / Product Leadership Strategy (PLS) / Trade / Engineering Marketing, and HR to ensure consistent messaging and enablement.
  • Own program KPIs, monthly dashboards, quarterly insights, and regional social budgets.
Hands-on social media management and operations for Hong Kong market (MOHK)

You will be accountable for results and directly execute key activities via partnership with a counterpart and agency:

Channel ownership
  • Own HK’s Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, WhatsApp.
  • Build and run the content calendar; ensure brand-fit creative, copy, and publishing cadence.
  • Community management.
Content creation and campaign production
  • Create content concepts and produce/adapt assets (short-form video, carousels, stories, reels, shorts, thought-leadership posts).
  • Brief and manage the agency for higher-production pieces.
  • Tailor content by audience (specifiers, contractors, engineers) and by channel.
Sprinklr operations, campaign and analytics
  • Use Sprinklr for scheduling, listening, routing, and reporting; troubleshoot with Global as needed.
  • Initiate and create campaign concepts for conversational marketing on WhatsApp and develop content with the counterpart and agency.
  • Build monthly HK dashboards (reach, engagement, CTR (Click-Through Rate), VTR (View-Through Rate), site traffic) and insight-led recommendations.

External Influencer Programs and Internal Employee Advocacy Program (Hilti Network)
  • Identify and develop influencer pool (internal & external), execute influencer engagement campaigns and content.
  • Execute Hilti Network internal communication and promotion, drive participants engagement through social content and internal competitions.

Reporting and continuous improvement
  • Present monthly progress and quarterly business impact to MOHK Executive Management Team (EMT), and Regional Hub Digital Team.
  • Run test-and-learn sprints (creative formats, copy angles, posting windows, targeting) and document playbooks.

What you need is:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5–10 years in social media; with at least 2 years with direct social channel management and community moderation.
  • Passionate and self-motivated, with demonstrated success running influencer programs and/or creator collaborations, and the experience enabling employee advocacy or running internal enablement/training.
  • Strong copywriting and content adaptation skills for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube; with short-form video familiarity.
  • Proficiency with enterprise tools; Sprinklr or similar social media management platform preferred (publishing, listening, care, reporting).
  • Solid analytics and experimentation mindset, savvy about dashboards, UTM, and insight storytelling.
  • Stakeholder management across cultures, with the ability to balance regional leadership with local execution.
  • Fluency in English, with Cantonese and Mandarin proficiency preferred.
  • Experience in B2B/industrial or construction sector experience would be ideal.
  • Basic video editing and design skills (e.g. Premiere/CapCut/Canva), as well as understanding of performance marketing (Demand Generation/Data Driven Lead/Engagement Marketing workflows, CRM/MA integrations, and webinar promotion), would be beneficial.
