Ventilated Façade Engineer

What's the Role?

The Ventilated Façade Structural Engineer is responsible for supporting and providing state-of-art civil engineering services during the quotation, installation and after-market phase for simple to highly complex ventilated façade (VF) projects.

What does the role involve?

While working on simple to high complex ventilated façade projects, you will support and provide quotes by defining the most competitive and customized design solution on demand, using finite element analysis program. You will be responsible for performing sophisticated static analyses with appropriate or Hilti facade software and refining existing schemes and systems.

In addition, you will create and defend static reports on project basis or on demand and support of the back-office engineering team in daily operations. Lastly, as the Ventilates Façade Structural Engineer, you will identify, prioritize and address areas for continuous improvement – in-line with team and department priorities.

What you need is:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree in Structural Engineering is advantageous
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in façade or steel/aluminum structure design (Leading design team is an advantage)
  • Advanced experience using AutoCAD
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis software (preferably RSTAB)
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and implementation skills
  • Empathy and ability to work with others in a multicultural environment
  • Proficiency in English - written and verbal
  • High learning agility
