What's the role?
As a Network Management Engineer, you will join our Global IT Network Services team, taking responsibility for managing, optimizing, and evolving our global network monitoring, logging, and analytics solutions. You’ll play a key role in ensuring robust network visibility and proactive incident management across our global enterprise infrastructure. This role combines engineering for DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI), advanced analytics, and automation, leveraging state-of-the-art tools and platforms.

What does the role involve?
Monitoring & Logging Management:
Develop, deploy, and maintain comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions, ensuring high visibility and operational excellence across network services.
Analytics & Automation:
Create advanced analytical dashboards and reporting solutions leveraging Azure Monitor, Kusto Query Language (KQL), and SolarWinds tools to proactively identify trends, anomalies, and improve overall network performance.
DDI Management:
Engineer, support and manage our global DDI infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management), ensuring stability, availability, and adherence to compliance requirements.
Scripting & Integration:
Automate operational tasks and alerts using scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell. Integrate automation into alerting workflows to enhance incident resolution speed and accuracy.
Incident & Problem Management:
Analyze and resolve network-related incidents quickly, leveraging analytics insights. Collaborate closely with global teams to resolve complex issues effectively and proactively.
Continuous Improvement:
Regularly evaluate monitoring and logging technologies, recommend improvements, and participate in strategic initiatives aimed at improving operational resilience and security of the network infrastructure.

What you need is:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or related fields.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Network Operations, Monitoring, Logging, or Analytics in enterprise environments.
- Proven hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (Azure Log Analytics, SolarWinds Orion, or similar).
- Knowledge and experience with DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management (DDI) systems such as BlueCat, Akamai, Microsoft or similar.
- Proven strong skills in network analytics and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and integrations.
- Good understanding of network infrastructure technologies (Firewalls, SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, VPN, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate within a global and diverse team.
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
