What's the role?
As a Technical Team Lead - Marketing Technology, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of marketing technology projects, with a focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will lead a team of developers and architects, ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of marketing technology solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency in marketing initiatives, while maintaining a high standard of technical excellence.

What does the role involve?
- Lead and manage the technical team responsible for implementing and maintaining marketing technology solutions.
- Oversee the development and deployment of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with marketing and IT teams to integrate marketing technology solutions with existing systems and processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design specifications, and user guides.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and best practices in marketing technology.
- Identify and resolve technical issues that could impact project success, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in marketing technology to drive innovation and efficiency.
With Engagement Marketing we are actively reshaping the concepts of marketing and sales at Hilti in the future. And if it were not enough, this will all happen from a newly established global Digital Marketing and sales team, located in a new best-in-class office in Paris/ Boulogne-Billancourt.

What you need is:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of relevant work experience in marketing technology.
- Proven experience as a Technical Team Lead or similar role in marketing technology.
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including key certifications such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Admin.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a technical team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Knowledge of other marketing technologies such as Content Management Systems (e.g., Sitecore) or social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr) is an advantage.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest marketing technology trends and best practices.
