What's the role?
This position provides technical support and drives sales (buying and non-buying) consistent with Hilti’s strategy. This position capitalizes on Hilti competencies to secure commitments for specification or approval of Hilti Products while adding value by assisting the design community and influencers in solving design problems using Hilti Products. This is a challenging role since it includes technical expertise and high level of communication skills (working with clients).
What You'll do
As a Field Engineer, you will be:
•Regularly visit assigned engineering and architectural firms, customer offices, and construction sites to identify opportunities to specify and promote Hilti software, services, and products.
•Conduct seminars for engineers, architects, and contractors to raise awareness and deepen understanding of both existing and new applications where Hilti products, software, and services are relevant. Simultaneously, gather insights into their upcoming projects to identify potential business opportunities.
•Contribute to the company’s growth and profitability through effective technical project management.
•Take ownership of key project specifications involving Hilti products, supporting the sales team in converting specifications into sales. This includes uploading and managing specifications in Salesforce, collaborating with the sales team, and participating in project meetings.
•Provide technical support, training, and guidance to engineers, architects, customers, and the sales team on all available software, services, and products, in alignment with the company’s objectives and marketing strategy.
•Demonstrate a strong understanding of Hilti’s digital technical resources and effectively communicate their availability and use to architects, engineers, customers, and internal teams.
•Support the marketing team in the development, launch, and ongoing maintenance of software, services, and products.
What You’ll Bring
<span style=" display:block;">•Master’s degree in building or civil engineering - familiarity with BIM as a plus.
•Computer literacy: very good command of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook; AutoCAD.
•Understanding the correlation between technical and commercial aspects of engineering work.
•Interests in solving complex engineering problems based on analytical mindset.
•Commitment, responsibility, results-driven and proactive approach.
•Willingness to work in a cross-functional team.
•Empathy and ability to work in multicultural environment.
•Fluency in English language.
