Test. Learn. Transform

Help us translate real customer applications into reusable engineering models. You will apply structural engineering, simulation, and AI to define realistic use cases and evaluation methods. Your work will support future hardware and system development based on a deeper understanding of customer applications.

This is a full‑time internship position. Start date is flexible. Duration for at least 6 months. No travel is foreseen for this position.

What You'll do

· Analyse relevant customer applications from a structural engineering perspective and identify the physical behaviors that influence system performance.
· Define representative use cases and evaluation criteria (use e.g. Eurocode).
· Investigate existing engineering and simulation methods, including the implementation of loading conditions, modelling assumptions, and result evaluation.
· Work with engineers and developers to connect customer application knowledge with hardware and system development.
· Document the methodology and demonstrate it using selected structural engineering use cases

What You’ll Bring

  • Enrolled in a Master’s program in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering throughout the full internship duration
  • Strong understanding of structural mechanics with the ability to define realistic load cases and boundary conditions based on e.g. Eurocode.
  • Interest in computational structural engineering with experience using relevant tools (e.g. Ansys, Dlubal RFEM or Python) considered advantageous.
  • Structured working style focused on translating physical applications into clear engineering models.
