As a Lead Engineer – Civil & Construction, you’ll be a key technical partner to our customers, helping identify opportunities and develop engineering solutions across Hilti’s hardware, software and services portfolio.

You’ll focus on building strong relationships with specifiers and technical influencers, developing opportunities and supporting specifications through to commercial outcomes.This position is about technical expertise, project ownership and influence, making it a great next step for an experienced engineer looking to broaden their impact.

What You'll do

Build strong relationships with consulting engineers, specifiers and technical influencers, becoming a trusted technical partner.
Develop account strategies that identify new opportunities and build long-term customer relationships.
Manage specification opportunities and collaborate with sales teams to help turn specifications into commercial outcomes.
Provide technical expertise across Hilti’s engineering solutions, including hardware, software and services.
Deliver engaging technical presentations, seminars and meetings to engineering stakeholders.
Work cross-functionally on projects and opportunities, bringing together technical and commercial expertise.
Stay across industry trends, customer needs and competitor activity to identify opportunities within the market.
Share technical knowledge and best practice with engineering colleagues, acting as a technical point of reference rather than a people manager.

What You’ll Bring

A tertiary qualification in Engineering.
A minimum of 2–3 years' engineering experience, ideally with exposure to civil projects
Experience working with consulting engineers, specifiers or other technical stakeholders.
Strong technical capability combined with commercial awareness.
Excellent communication, consulting, influencing and negotiation skills.
Confidence delivering technical presentations and seminars to senior stakeholders.
The ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively across different functions.
A proactive mindset and the ability to identify opportunities, anticipate challenges and develop solutions
